Shifted specializes in providing educational sessions tailored to meet the needs of each individual student. Initial sessions are spent understanding and reviewing the child's learning profile and building rapport with the student. From there, a target plan is designed to incorporate a child's strengths to help address their weaknesses. Shifted provides individualized, ongoing, and intensive instruction to individuals with various types of learning differences due to deficits in attention, processing, memory, or executive functions that may impact performance across subject areas, organization, and study skills. Providing a child with a "toolkit" of skills to help compensate for areas of weakness is the key to ShiftEd's approach. Building an autonomous student who advocates when appropriate is essential to success. ShiftEd takes the content & understands the process, all while creating a supportive learning environment to create autonomy.
